Alexandra & Tom were getting married at a mountain resort in New Jersey. We used the silhouette of the tallest mountain in the Kittaninny range as the graphic element that bound all pieces together. They wanted the main invitation to be as formal as possible, so we blind embossed the mountain ridge on that piece. We also used a topographical map of the area to create a pattern to blind impress onto the information card.

CHELSEA & NICHOLAS SAVE THE DATE
Chelsea & Nicholas love Vermont, they travel there as often as possible, and of course, decided to get married there. KRISTAN & ERIC
Kristan and Eric had a Cape Cod wedding, they were married at her family's home. We created a wood textured paper enclosure to hint at the natural setting, but kept the tones muted and metallic to match the elegant and refined feel Kristan had envisioned for the day. The drawing on the front of the folio is of the actual sign on the property, and the postcard RSVP back was adapted from an antique photo postcard of the property.

MIMI & TIM
Mimi and Tim are self-proclaimed old-souls, and wanted their invitation to hearken back to another era, but weren't exactly sure what they wanted them to look like.. For this invitation, we collaborated with the talented Becca Cahan to create a hand - drawn invitation with soul and context.
This invitation is letterpress printed on natural white 100% heavyweight cotton paper in neon pink and navy ink.
"Not knowing what I wanted, [Rachel] guided me in a direction that felt smart, stylish, and personal with the right questions and the perfect amount of input. Beyond that, her sense of color and design is impeccable-had you described the color and layout I would have doubted-instead, I got more compliments than I ever expected: the coolest, most me, most beautiful, most fun....When they arrived, they were tied with a bow, nestled in gorgeous paper. I felt like I was opening a present, and they were better in person than I could have hoped."
JOHANNA & GERWIN
For their wedding, Johanna and Gerwin chose a small town in Austria, known for its wildflowers and delicious regional honey. They wanted to make the invitation suite simple and understated, with a reference to place. The design was centered around an antique illustration of a dandelion, printed in a dusty rose, to match the bridesmaids dresses. For favors, Johanna sourced honey from a local apiary and we created letterpress labels for the jars.
This one piece wedding invitation is letterpress printed in two colors on natural white paper. The wishing tree tags are sized to fit into a standard photo album when the hole punched end is trimmed. The honey jar labels are printed on adhesive cotton paper.

JESSICA & ROLANDO
Jessica and Rolando liked an art deco inspired look, but wanted the overall feel of the invite to be Texan. We decided to take a traditional art deco pattern, but re-draw it by hand to make it less polished, and more tender. The colors chosen were for blue jeans and dusty pastures, and we tied the set with a natural twine.

AKUA & FOLU
For Akua and Folu's wedding in Barbados we paired a simple palm frond etching with a sleek and modern typeface to communicate the clean and airy feel of the event itself. KATYE & SCOTT
ZOE & MICHAEL
Michael proposed to Zoe in Sintra, Portugal and the two wanted to recreate some of the magic of that place for their wedding. Sintra is an ancient place with story book castles nestled among lush forests. At sunset, they watched swallows dart in and out of the eaves of their Inn, so the swallow was an important element of the design. These swallows are taken from the photographed silhouettes of tiny portuguese ceramic birds the couple bought on their trip.

SARAH & ED
Sarah and Ed wanted their invitation suite to embody the beautiful place they had chosen for their wedding reception - The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Emily and Tim wanted their invitation to feel traditional, but not boring! Since there was lots to tell folks, we decided to add a cascade of extra cards to the main invitation, relying on a gorgeous pairing of typefaces and subtly toned paper stocks to carry the design. A sweet anchor motif surfaces here and there, but the show-stopper is a map of the local area, hand illustrated by the bride herself!
This is a six piece wedding invitation suite, the main pieces are letterpress printed, the rest are flat printed. We used white, cream, blush, navy and jute paper stocks, navy ink, and raw twine to assemble the set.
