Alyssa and Vijay were so excited to be getting married at Boston's historical Wang Theatre, and wanted their invitation to be as old-school fancy and regal as the venue itself. Their name in lights, but with an Indian flair, to pay homage to the groom's roots. We chose a stitching detail from Alyssa's wedding sari, a Saraswat family heirloom, and made it into the background pattern of the invitation, then made some bold and playful typography choices to intimate a marquee, and added a trunk-up lucky elephant to the RSVP envelope, just for good measure.

This is a two piece wedding invitation suite. It is gold foil stamped on 100% cotton, bright white stock, with black envelopes. The oversized suite is tied with an italian cotton gauzy ribbon in burgundy, the color of Alyssa's sari.
