For their farm to table wedding celebration at Blue Hill at Stone Barns restaurant, Hope and Miles wanted to create excitement for an amazing farm to table experience right off the bat. We decided to base the save the date card on antique seed packet designs. The save the date was letterpress printed in three colors on double thick cotton paper. The invitation evolved from there to include antique botanical illustrations, mixed with artful borders, and hand calligraphy of the couple's names and return address by Jenny at Leveret & Hare. We added some copper foil details and enlarged a lavender illustration to create abstract foil pressed envelope liner. Meanwhile, for the wedding programs, we designed and hand-bound 150 passport sized booklets with italian parchment end papers and waxed Irish cotton linen book thread. We made further use of the beautiful borders and botanicals for escort cards, table names, and welcome notes.

This is a three piece letterpress wedding invitation suite, with a save the date, and informal notecards, as well as wedding day printed goods featuring a passport booklet style wedding program. The letterpress pieces are printed on 100% cotton, pearl white stock in black fig, dusty rose, and dusty miller ink, with metallic copper foil accents. The reply envelope is black fig paper with copper foil. The the suite is tied together with metallic copper ribbon.
